Introducing Live Streaming Tech to Gamescom Community

Gamescom Asia 2022

The Label Broadcast team was excited to connect with new friends, partners and members of the gaming community during Gamescom Asia 2022, held from 20-22 October in Singapore. We were also honoured to welcome Minister of State Alvin Tan to our booth during the exhibition.

At the event, we presented a live demonstration showcasing ultra-low latency video streaming powered by Mobile Viewpoint and VidTech encoders together with our LabelCloud media server platform. The setup delivered stable, high-quality Full HD video with excellent visual performance on a 28-inch monitor.

Compared to direct streaming from mobile devices - which often suffer from overheating due to heavy encoding workloads - our workflow provides a more reliable and scalable production solution for esports and live event environments. The system also enables production teams to deliver video feeds directly to large venue LED displays with minimal delays.

During the exhibition, we introduced several of our flagship live contribution and streaming solutions:

UltraLink-Air:

A ruggedized, backpack-ready mobile encoder designed for live broadcasting and remote production. UltraLink-Air enables camera crews to transmit high-quality, low-latency video directly from the field by bonding up to eight 3G, 4G, 5G cellular connections, Wi-Fi and fixed LAN network. The system also support local LAN and Wi-Fi access point functionality for on-site internet connectivity.

BaseLink:

A portable bonded cellular encoder trusted by broadcasters, law enforcement agencies, and production crews for reliable HD live streaming from remote locations. BaseLink combines fixed-line broadband, Wi-Fi and multiple cellular networks - including 5G - into a single resilient transmission pipeline.

NE100P:

A professional multi-input portable network video encoder designed for broadcast production, live event coverage and IP-based contribution workflows.
